Storyteller
Sessions

Embrace your own creative story.

The storyteller session brings the essence of your business into the spotlight.

That’s you.

The Process

We’ll schedule a call to discuss what a normal workday looks like for you. Moments you want to capture will be noted.

01 LET’S CHAT

You’ll send me quick snapshots of the main areas we will be during our session. They do not have to be perfect! This helps me plan for lighting and potential vignettes we can create.

02 SHARE YOUR SPACE

Get excited! I’ll meet you at your studio and we’ll go over a flexible schedule of images we want to capture. Put on some music, grab of a coffee and settle in.

03 DAY OF SHOOT

Your Storyteller Session images will be delivered 3 weeks after our photo shoot. Your images will come two ways: high resolution jpegs (great for printed materials) and social media jpegs (easy for quick sharing).

My guide Best Practices: How to Use Your Images is also included.

 FAQs

  • Any creative who wants to document their spaces, processes and inspiration. This looks like artists, product-based makers, photographers, interior designers, authors.

  • Absolutely not! Tidy it, yes. Deep clean, no. We want the space to reflect a true working environment and a little bit of mess is part of the creation process.

  • Please wear whatever feels comfortable and the most like you. If you’d like to do an upgraded version of your usual studio attire, that’s also fine!

  • During our discussion call we will go over the type of work you create and all the how’s and why’s. A day of shoot shot list will be created based on your answers. Expect small vignettes from around your studio, close up on hands working, tools, inspirational items and curated flatlays. We will also take some time to document you doing what you do best - creating!

  • Your final edited images will be delivered 3 weeks after the conclusion of our photo shoot. It’s a good idea to keep this in mind when scheduling any content like product releases, newsletters, marketing materials, etc.

  • The short answer is no. I’d like to think of this session as an unfiltered view into your creative world. We won’t be dedicating time to posed artist head shots. If you’d like me to refer you to amazing photographers who specialize in this, I’m happy to do that.
